As an increasing number of international patients are choosing our clinic, we would like to provide information about our medical services, health insurance coverage, and language support.
Our clinic is located in Minamihorie, Nishi Ward, Osaka City. We provide general ear, nose, and throat care, with a particular focus on the diagnosis and surgical treatment of nasal conditions.
ENT Care for International Patients

Same-Day Nasal Surgery
We provide same-day surgery for conditions including:
Our procedures are generally performed endoscopically under local anesthesia with appropriate sedation. After surgery, patients rest in our recovery area and may return home on the same day if their condition is stable.
The director of our clinic, a board-certified ENT specialist in Japan, has performed more than 1,000 nasal surgeries between 2012 and 2025.
Please note that an examination is required before surgery. The doctor will determine whether same-day surgery is suitable based on your symptoms, diagnosis, general health, and living circumstances.
Treatment Process
The usual process is as follows:
We ask about your symptoms and perform the necessary examinations.
The doctor explains the diagnosis and recommends an appropriate treatment plan.
If surgery is recommended, we arrange preoperative testing and schedule the procedure.
Surgery is performed under local anesthesia. You will rest at the clinic before returning home.
Regular follow-up visits are very important after nasal surgery. Patients are generally asked to visit the clinic for approximately two to three months after the procedure.
Japanese Health Insurance and Medical Fees
Patients who live in Japan and are enrolled in Japanese National Health Insurance or another Japanese public health insurance program may receive insurance-covered medical care for eligible examinations and treatments.
Please bring your valid Japanese health insurance card, My Number health insurance card, or other proof of coverage when visiting the clinic.
Patients who are not enrolled in a Japanese public health insurance program will be treated on a self-pay basis and will be responsible for the full cost of their medical care.
Insurance coverage and treatment fees vary depending on the diagnosis, examinations, and procedures required. We will provide additional information after evaluating your condition.
English Communication Support
Although our clinic does not have a full-time professional medical interpreter, we will do our best to communicate with you in English.
To support clear communication, our staff may use:
- Tablets
- Translation applications
- Written materials
- Simple English explanations
Medical explanations may take longer when translation support is required. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work to ensure that you understand your condition and treatment options.
If possible, please prepare the following information before your visit:
- Your current symptoms and when they began
- Previous diagnoses or treatments
- A list of medications you are currently taking
- Any known allergies
- Relevant medical records, test results, or referral letters
